Alternator Conversion Kit Suitable for Holden LS1

Instructions:
Disconnect the main alternator feed.
Remove the ground wire from the alternator.
Disconnect the induction light plug.
Loosen alternator bottom bolt and top bolt.
Loosen tensioner and remove belt from alternator pulley.
Remove top bolt from alternator (do not discard, it will be needed again).
Remove the bottom bolt from the alternator, retaining the nut (new bolt supplied in the kit).
Remove the alternator.
New alternator ready:
Remove the original pulley from the LS1 alternator.
Install the new 4PK pulley onto the alternator.
The new pulley fits very snugly and may require heat to compress.
Drill out or replace the battery terminals from M6 to M8 to accommodate the new alternator battery terminals.
Install a new alternator for the vehicle:
Seat the alternator so that the induction plug is facing away from the engine.
Install a new long M10 bolt with a spring washer followed by a flat washer and install it over the lower mounting hole of the alternator and tighten it with the stock nut (do not fully tighten at this time).
Swing the alternator towards the body and install the belt.
Install the top mounting bracket with the M10 hole to the alternator and the M8 hole to the stock regulator.
Install new M10 short bolts with M10 spring washers and flat washers through the rear of the alternator top mounting bolt holes to the new mounting brackets.
Reinstall the original M8 bolt through the regulator block and into the new top mounting bracket.
Adjust belt tension and tighten bolts to Nissan specifications.
Install new M5 bolt with spring and flat washers.
Secure the ground wire to the back of the alternator with the M5 bolt.
Secure the battery cable to the alternator battery terminal with the nut provided.
Plug back in induction lamp.
Connect the battery.
Double check that all bolts are tight.
